Library Rules
- There is a full fledged, well furnished and fully Computerized Library in the College.
- All Students and Staff are members of the Library and Reading Room.
- The Library and Reading Room will remain open on all working days from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
- The users must enter their details in the Gate Register.
- Periodicals, Previous Question Papers and Reference Books will not be lent out. They may be referred inside the Library by submitting the identity card.
- Students can borrow two books at a time for a period of 14 days.
- A staff member can borrow maximum six books at a time for a period of one month.
- Marking, Underlining or Writing on Library Books, Periodicals and News papers strictly forbidden.
- Borrowers will be held responsible for any damage caused to the book. When a book is issued to a member it is presumed that it is in good condition, unless and otherwise pointed out.
- After reading, make sure that the Books, Periodicals, and News papers are kept back at their respective places.
- Students are not allowed sub-lend the books or borrower’s card.
- If a Book is damaged or lost by a member, he/she will have to replace it or pay the cost of the book at the current rate with fine.
- A member who fails to return a book on the due date will be fined Rs. 1.00 per day until the book is returned.
- A photocopying machine is provided in the Library. Documents can be photocopied at a nominal rate.
- Mobile phones are not allowed in the Library.
- A member can avail book from the Library by producing his/her identity card at the circulation counter for proper verification.
- The members should take good care of Library furnishing and equipment’s. Make sure the Library looks as good when you leave as it did when you came in.
- Drinks and food are not allowed in the library.
- Library computers are for academic purpose only.
- A ‘No Due Certificate’ by each students is to be obtained from the librarian while her transfer/withdrawal from the College.
- Strict order and silence shall be maintained in the Library.
- Keep your footwear out of the Library.
